I wanted to name them after three goddesses, whose memory and story has survived all these years for us to read.

Juno was an ancient Roman goddess, Queen of the Gods
Goddess of marriage and childbirth.
Proserpina: Queen of the Underworld, goddess of female and agricultural fertility, and springtime growth
Hera is the goddess of marriage, women and family, and the protector of women during childbirth.
